Bedroom: Linens, pillows, mattress pad, towels, toiletries, trash can, décor, electronics and corresponding cords/adapters, and anything else that makes you feel at home.
-
Will my student need a guarantor or co-signer?
For student residents who do not meet the credit and income approval requirements, a guarantor is required to rent at Hannah Townhomes & Lofts.
-
How far in advance should we secure housing?
It’s best to start looking for student housing several months in advance, especially in high-demand areas near campus. Many students begin their search 6 to 9 months before their intended move-in date, with leasing often starting early in the year for the following fall semester.
Prospective residents are encouraged to apply as soon as possible once they find an apartment that fits their needs. Securing housing early can give you more options in terms of location, floor plans, and pricing. Waiting too long may limit availability or lead to higher costs, so planning ahead can help you find a space that better fits your student’s needs and preferences.
-
What transportation options are available?
Hannah Townhomes & Lofts has a shuttle service to MSU’s campus available for all residents. Bus stops are located along nearby Hagadorn Road. Residents are also welcome to bring a car, and parking is available for an additional monthly fee.
-
How do roommate arrangements work?
Residents who already have preferred roommates can apply and request to live together. Those applying individually can take advantage of roommate matching, which pairs residents based on a questionnaire about shared preferences and living habits.
-
What if something in my student’s apartment needs to be repaired?
Our on-site professional maintenance team is here to help. To help us respond as quickly as possible, please include specific details about the issue when submitting a service request.
You may submit a service request in one of the following ways:Option 1: Submit a service request through the online resident portal.
Option 2: Email your request to your community, and a team member will enter it on your behalf.
Option 3: Visit or call the office during regular business hours, and a team member will enter your request for you. After hours, you may leave a message with an after-hours representative.
